Google Play closed-test opt-in link not working
Verify the tester is signed into the invited Google account and that the group and release are both active.

Fix it in this order
- Use the opt-in URL from the closed track's testers page in Play Console, not the store listing link.
- Open it in a browser signed into only the invited Google account. A private window with that one account rules out account mix-ups.
- Confirm the account is a member of the Google Group, or on the email list, attached to that track.
- Check the closed-track release is published. The opt-in page cannot offer the app until it is.
What to capture
- The opt-in URL the tester used.
- The Google account they were signed into, and how many accounts the browser had.
- A screenshot of the message on the opt-in page.
Avoid resets without evidence
Changing tracks, groups, and releases at the same time hides the actual cause. Resolve one failed boundary, verify it, then continue.
